Xirrus Secures KCSOS / PEPPM ‘Awarded Vendor’ Status

Xirrus’ Wi-Fi Arrays are Listed in the 2009 KCSOS / PEPPM Multi-State Purchasing Program

Xirrus, Inc., the Wi-Fi “Power-Play” that delivers the most coverage, bandwidth, and throughput in the industry was recently awarded for their Wi-Fi Array product line on both the Kern County Superintendent of Schools (KCSOS) in California and the Pennsylvania Education Purchasing Program (PEPPM) for the 2009 multi-state contract. This contract, widely recognized in Pennsylvania, California, and a growing number of other states, helps school districts, libraries, county governments, and local purchase technology solutions at competitive pricing through a widely respected bidding program.

“Agencies that place orders through KCSOS / PEPPM will purchase products at the lowest available price, eliminate the bid process, and expediting procurement through the streamlined and time-saving process compared to soliciting three bids for every purchase,” said Paul Kersse, Area Vice President for Xirrus. “They will benefit from the thorough investigation and selection process performed by KCSOS / PEPPM before designating “awarded vendors” for each product category.”

Xirrus is also a participant in the Universal Service Administrative Company’s E-Rate program, which provides discounts to schools and libraries for telecommunications services, Internet access, and internal connections. The Xirrus SPIN number for E-rate is 143030824. More information can be found at www.universalservice.org/sl/.
