Uffculme School Upgrades Network to Deliver High Performance Wi-Fi for their Students Using Xirrus 802.11n Wi-Fi Arrays

Uffculme School replaced their existing Access Point infrastructure with Xirrus 802.11abg+n Wi-Fi Arrays to gain better network performance for their wireless video streaming and 1:1 computer initiative. The transition to Xirrus was quick, seamless, and provided the school with the necessary bandwidth for Wi-Fi to be their primary network connection.
Uffculme School is a Foundation Comprehensive School for boys and girls aged 11-16. There are approximately 950 students and 140 staff members spread across nine buildings. The school aims to provide effective formal and informal learning through which all of its pupils will achieve their potential in as many ways as possible, develop spiritual and moral values, obtain a variety of skills and qualifications to prepare them for the next stage of life, and be part of a community within which all feel secure and valued.
